India’s Best Dancer 3: Anjali Mamgai-Aniket Chauhan’s Dance Battle Leaves Everyone Awe-Struck; Judges Heap Praises On Their Performance
In the upcoming episode of India’s Best Dancer 3, judges Terence Lewis and Sonali Bendre will heap praises on Anjali and Aniket’s dance battle
One of the most-loved dance-based reality shows on Indian television India’s Best Dancer season 3 is slowly inching towards the finale. For weeks, the judges and the contestants have entertained the audiences with the beautiful performances. The upcoming weekend too will be special as the participants will be going through the ‘Battle Of The Best’ challenge. This weekend’s episodes will be marked as momentous as the dancers will fight to secure their spot in the Top 8.
Talking about the challenge, contestants will be performing a dance battle where they showcase their best moves and try to impress the judges Geeta Kapur, Terence Lewis and Sonali Bendre with their growth as a performer. One dance act that will leave everyone mesmerised is the epic face-off between Anjali Mamgai and Aniket Chauhan. They will be seen dancing on iconic songs like Mayya Mayya, Darling and Jai Jai Shivshankar as they challenge each other’s dancing skills. Spellbound by their act, Bendre will be seen terming their performance as a ‘best act’. She will talk about their growth that she had witnessed throughout their journey. She will heap praises on both the contestants. Talking to Anjali, the actress will speak about the variations she can bring in her act. Quoted by India Forums, she said, “Anjali, the way your growth has been in this journey, with the variations we can see in your act, you were very strong as a dancer. Terence will go on to add that Aniket’s solo that he had performed during the audition gave him a direct entry in the Top 12. Comparing that to the solo he performed during the challenge, he said that it “was pure magic.” The purity of the moment was beautiful. The choreographer goes on to add, “The way your legs moved, the slides, and especially the musicality you displayed in the first solo – when the lyrics ended and only the music played, I absolutely loved that section. Aniket, you executed it with finesse, and it was a joy to watch. Aniket, you added a slide in the second section, and you did it playfully.”
The renowned choreographer went on to state that Aniket’s dancing matched up to the level of Hollywood legends Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly.
For the unversed, the current season sees Geeta Kapur, Terence Lewis and Sonali Bendre as the judges. Hosted by Jay Bhanushali, the show airs on Sony Entertainment Television.
